Apart from being a renowned Motivational Speaker and inspiration to many, who is Fela Durotoye?

Would say, Fela Durotoye is a man who is totally sold out to do God's will. He is simply a messenger with a message. Fela is just a Kingdom builder, an Institution builder, a Nation builder and a Generational builder (K.I.N.G)

How did you start being a motivational speaker?

Actually, I didn't start out to become a motivational speaker. Besides, I hardly call myself a motivational speaker. I believe that I am just a man with a message to transform people. When I was in secondary school, I led a musical youth band and it was always amazing to see the way people responded to me, when I came on stage; holding people spell-bound, standing with the microphone and do what I do, and I still see that happen today. So, you wouldn't have expected that I would end up being a speaker. But after I had an encounter with God, my life took a totally different turn for good. In September, 1999, God asked me to set up a place where he can meet with is children as in the days of Adam, so I set up the only Christian Entertainment Center called Eden on campus while I was on my M.Phil program in Ife. In 2001 I started to speak to students in large crowds on campus. That was the point that my public speaking career took off once I had delivered at a graduation ceremony for a department in school then, invitations started rolling in. A lot of people tell me that they are not surprise by what they see today, that they have always known. I didn't.

Was it easy to gain recognition and audience you sought for?

The truth be told, I didn't start out seeking recognition. I was simply doing what I felt I was called to do. one message at a time. But interestingly, the more I did that with all the passion I could muster, the more my audience grew and the more recognition I got. But it wasn't what I set out to achieve from the onset; it was a result of doing what I was doing as excellently as I could do it.

What do you believe are the qualities that make  a good Leader?

For me, leadership is about service and solving problems. A good leader is one who has the heart to serve the people he/she is leading. A good leader must also be able to identify and solve problems for people he/she is called to lead.

People who study the word of God day and night.People who show the unsaved from obscurity to salvation.Join the league of the M.O.G.!

Who are Leaders?
Leader are people who humble their selves to serving other, people who pour their hearts, blood, body and soul to see others cope. Leaders are people you see for the equip people with their needs. Leaders are people who reads, learn, study. Leaders are people of influence.

Who are Entrepreneurs?
When you hear people say Aliko Dangote, Mark Zukerberg, Ben Murray Bruce, Praise George what creeps into you mind? Entrepreneurs are people who invest, their time, money, mentality to see how they can create, opportunities for people to work by building firms, and company. Entrepreneurs are people who see a need and solve it. Entrepreneurs are people who do things their own way.!
